Laboratory Thermo Blocks
Thermo blocks are frequently used as a replacement for different baths, either because of the ensured temperature range or because of a simple reason – the samples do not get wet in a liquid medium.
Thermo blocks are usually made of aluminium, which is a good heat conductor and thus ensures a stable and uniform temperature. It is also important that the hole in the thermal block must be very similar to the small containers that are inserted into the block. This is the only way we can ensure a good heat transmission and the correct sample heating.
The external casing is made of pickled sheet, coated with a resistant two-component varnish. The heating block with holes is made of aluminium and can be fixed or replacable.
The appliance has a built-in system for correcting the temperature probe, which is useful especially when the probe needs to be replaced or if there is a need to correct the display and the actual measured temperature in the appliance before validating the results.
